Public DNS/ICMP Tunnelling Service - BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND.
NOTE: Service offline temporarily. We are rebuilding after those scum sucking bastard coated bastards at ICANN jacked our domain and now we have to reconfigure DNS and everything. WE WILL BE BACK. BETTER. FASTER. STRONGER. MORE EVASIVE. MORE TUNNEL. MORE AWESOME.
Seriously. The "Whois verification" crap ICANN pull is real BS. What about privacy? I had to think long and hard about if I wanted to expose myself to the wankers.
What?
This is a public DNS/ICMP tunnel server, through which you can proxy to the internet to evade stupid filters, firewalls, and other nonsense getting in the way of your internet use. All outbound traffic is routed over the Tor Anonymity Network, for obvious reasons of me not wanting to get over nine thousand abuse mails over whatever shit you put through this tunnel. You may find this tunnel useful for things like getting past WiFi paywalls, and the likes.
How to use
Documentation is a bit thin on the ground, but using it is very simple.
ICMP Tunnel
To use the ICMP tunnel, you will need to install the PingTunnel software. I only have bothered testing this out on Linux, however I am told it works fine on Android, Windows and OSX as well. RTFM for how to install ptunnel. If there is demand, I suppose I can always do a video guide.
To connect to this service using ptunnel, use the following command (as root or admin or whatever).
./ptunnel -x dnstun.com -p dnstun.com -lp 8000 -da dnstun.com -dp 9050
This will open up a SOCKS5 proxy on your local port 8000, forwarding it through to the dnstun.com servers Tor listener, so you can proxy onward to the internet. Obviously, the combination of ICMP and Tor will lead to lag, but hey, its free :)
DNS Tunnel
To use the DNS tunnel, you will need to install the Iodine software. I have only bothered testing this on Linux, however I am told it works fine on Android, Windows, and OSX as well. RTFM for the install guide, its fairly well documented. If there is demand, I suppose I can always do a video guide.
To connect to this service using Iodine, use the following command (as root or admin or whatever).
iodine -f -P eleet 178.62.112.71 c.dnstun.com
This will add a new interface (dns0), and you will be able to access a SOCKS5 proxy to connect to the internet through on 10.0.0.1:9050, which will forward your traffic out through the Tor network. Obviously, the combination of Tor and a slow DNS tunnel will lead to lag, but hey, its free :) It should be noted Iodine will first try a direct UDP/53 tunnel BEFORE trying DNS tunnels, as direct tunnel is faster.

If you would like to help fund this project, your computational cycles are gladly accepted either via the handy Coinbase Page or by the below bitcoin address. I hope to soon be able to afford more servers, set up more domains, and make the whole experience more user friendly and "production ready".

As for the reasons to why we are doing this, its because we can. Paywalls on WiFi are fences erected by the rich to exploit the poor, and we are very dedicated to the burning down of, hopping over, circumvention of, or otherwise generally fucking with, said fences.
